ERGONOMICS AND PHYSICAL FITNESS The topic was most relevant in today’s time. The webinar was presented by Dr Vipul Jain and Dr Pallavi. Dr Vipul Jain is leading physiotherapist and sports musculoskeletal Chiropractor with superspeciality in spine and sports rehabilitation. Dr Vipul is one of the finest Chiropractor in India and practices at Sancheti Hospital Pune. Dr Pallavi is super specialist in spine and hand rehabilitation. They are cofounders of "The Spine and Health" , Baner, Pune. Dr. Pallavi explained in simple words importance of Ergonomics in day to day life. The right posture and support is very important for better efficiency while carrying out any activity. She presented the details through diagrams and slides. The whole presentation was very apt to Work from Home concept and as well for offices and factory layouts. Dr. Vipul made an excellent power point presentation about physical and mental health. Our body is the home of our spirits, thoughts and life enjoyments. Its health is paramount to each of us. The physical fitness has five parts muscular Strength, muscular endurance, cardio endurance, flexibility and body composition. We should do exercises for achieving all five parameters of Fitness. For example walking is a cardio exercise and is not sufficient for total physical fitness and we should do some more exercises. The mental health is equally important for maintaining a healthy body. Dr. Vipul also gave live demo and an excellent presentation about the type of exercises everyone should do. Some of the exercises can be done in office breaks or while sitting on chair during work.
